At VNA, a leading provider of Private Duty Nursing services in Southeast Missouri for over 35 years, we are currently looking for 2 nurses to fill our night and weekend day shifts. If you are a skilled and compassionate nurse, we invite you to consider joining our team to provide essential one-on-one care to clients with specialized healthcare needs in the comfort of their homes.
What is Private Duty Nursing?
Private Duty Nursing involves delivering individualized care to clients with specialized healthcare needs who require continuous hourly nursing care, for up to 16 hours per day, within a home setting.
Responsibilities Of Private Duty Nurses
Perform one-on-one care and interact with patients
Conduct vital signs and physical assessments
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Document the patient's ongoing condition
Provide care for G-tubes, trachs, and vents as needed
